Oklahoma Portion of the Grand Lake Watershed
This map shows the Oklahoma section of the total 10,298 square mile watershed. The Oklahoma portion of the four-state watershed is only about 8%. Waters drain into Grand Lake from the Neosho River Watershed, the Spring River Watershed and the Elk River Watershed. Also, lake tributary stream areas of Honey Creek, Horse Creek, and Drowning Creek are shown on the map.
This map also shows targeted sources of phosphorous in the vicinity of Grand Lake. The darker color indicates a greater contribution of phosphorous. [From Oklahoma Conservation Commission 2008]
